Industry academic interaction is an ideal that can become a potent instrument towards supporting industrial development. FITT invites manufacturers, industry associations, R & D organisations and financial institutions to become Corporate Members of FITT.
Facilities and Services to the Corporate Members of FITT
 Close contact with IIT(D)
Review and update on post and ongoing R & D programmes in the Institute
Access to HRD and other programmes of FITT and IIT(D) at concessional rates
Availability of expert academic staff chosen from a panel for secondment to the member organisation for a given period during the academic vacation time.
Participation in Technology Transfer and joint R & D programmes.

Benefits for Corporate Members
To strengthen the linkages between the IIT Delhi and Industry, the governing Council of FITT has approved the scheme of Corporate Membership. This membership is open to industries, associations, R&D organisations and financial institutions who would like to support the concept of Institute-Industry Interaction and derive benefits resulting thereof.
Information on Technology Development etc.
Depending on the areas of interest, Corporate Memers would be kept informed through News letters, bulletins about the developments in technology, changes in Government policy etc. Brief on product / processes / softwares developed at IIT Delhi are periodically published and made available to the Corporate Members.
Information Support Services
Access to / retrieval from on-line international and CD-ROM databases with 10% discount on service charge, introductory phase, this facility is limited to consultation only at the IIT library.
The large inventory of books, journals, periodicals available at the Library can also be advantageously exploited for reference purposes by each Corporate Member.
Technology Appreciation Programmes and Future Vision Seminars
To keep abreast with the latest state-of-the-art and emerging technologies, Technology Appreciation Programmes and Future Vision Seminars are proposed to be organised by FITT from time to time. Corporate Members will be invited to participate in these programmes, suggest themes and share experience with experts in the industry and academia in India and from other parts of the world.
Industrial Clinics
Depending on the number of Corporate Members in a particular strength area of IIT, periodical industrial clinics to solve technology related problems posed by the members can be organised.
Access to Faculty Expertise for Exploratory Discussion
FITT will assist Corporate Members to interact with individual faculty/experts for exploratory discussions on techno-managerial issues, as and when required, prior to possible consultancy/technology transfer or development/research partnership programmes.
Exchange of Visits
Corporate Members could avail of the services of experts/faculty members on secondment for short term consultation on priority; similarly key executives of industry members can make periodic visits to IIT laboratories or departments.
Members will receive information Workshops, Seminars, Conference, Continuing Education Programmes, special lectures etc. held at IIT Delhi on a regular basis.
