Professional Development Programmes
The Industries, especially their personnel, need to be constantly upgraded in their knowledge / skill-set for improving their system throughput / productivity while assimilating changes in technology. FITT, since its inception, has been involved in innovative programmes together with IIT Delhi faculty and industry users in creating trained and skilled manpower in various sectors eg. the Advanced Course on Software Technology. As a further measure of knowledge enrichment, FITT is marketing some of the courses and specialized programmes capsuled into videotapes / CD-ROMs as educational products which emulate classroom teaching at IIT Delhi and are useful for other technical institutions, as well. This apart, FITT has been organizing a number of professional development programmes involving trainings, workshops etc. More than 300 programmes have so far been organized. Recently FITT adopted the Professional Candidate Registration Programme for sponsored professionals in a unique semester-long, single course and regular class-room based knowledge augmentation programme.
